Summary:
To provide accurate and timely processing of payroll.
Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Maintain payroll records by collecting, calculating and entering data - Monitor and review timecard approval and signoff process, which includes identifying, researching, and resolving discrepancies - Process tip and toke allocations - Review and process payroll batch entries for commissions, tips, service charges, incentives - Set-up wage garnishments, child support and levies, and monitor third party checks - Set-up adjustment rules and the like - Transmit payroll and receive/load payroll check detail and summary report output files - Prepare payroll general ledger journal entries and compile/create reports - Calculate and prepare manual checks and notifications of positive pay - Complete weekly, quarterly, and annual payroll and 401k reconciliations - Coordinate with internal and external business partners to process 401(k) contributions, loans, and funds transfers - Verify database information between ADP & Kronos periodically - Provide assistance to timecard reviewers as needed for timecard maintenance - Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information - Assist Payroll Supervisor with non-routine issues QUALIFICATION Required:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience - 2 years' experience managing a payroll cycle from start to finish Preferred:
- Previous ADP / Workforce Now payroll and Kronos workforce management experience - Previous experience having processed a weekly payroll for 1000
employees Recommended Skills Calculations General Ledger Loans Maintenance Payroll Management Human Resources Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
