Slot Technician Assistant Supervisor

Summary:
To assist the Supervisor with day-to-day department operations.
Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Assist with hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and evaluating staff and conducting performance reviews - Assist with directing daily work activities and inspecting completed work for conformance to standards - Install, move, test, repair and maintain slot and electronic/electro-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems - Troubleshoot and repair slots and associated player tracking system, progressive controller and display assemblies to the component level to minimize down time and maximize profitability of the gaming operation - Convert slot machines from one type or denomination to another - Direct customer contact relating to service calls on malfunctioning machines - Maintain and repair other equipment throughout the casino QUALIFICATIONS Required:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience - 2 year electronics degree or equivalent experience; or a combination of equivalent experience and/or education - 2 years Slot Technician experience including a demonstrable knowledge of troubleshooting most slot machines on Treasure Island's casino floor; and an understanding of player tracking and accounting online system Preferred:
- Mechanical and electromechanical systems experience - 2 years digital communications, PC and network experience - Experience training individuals in a technical environment Skills Required:
- Accurate and detail-oriented - Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities - Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) - Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills - Excellent problem-solving skills - Strong mechanical aptitude Recommended Skills Adaptability Assembly And Installation Attention To Detail Coordinating Interpersonal Communications Mechanical Aptitude Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
