Flexible Schedule Options Employment Specialists work full-time and enjoy a flexible schedule.
Schedule requirements include:
Work between 35 - 40 hours each week Attend mandatory trainings and internal meetings Be available M-F 8:
30 am - 4 pm to prioritize client needs as they arise Work 6 hours between the hours of 8:
30 am - 4 pm Monday-Thursday Work 2 hours between the hours of 8:
30 am - 4 pm on Fridays Beyond that, Employment Specialists can work the rest of their hours when they choose whether that's standard business hours, early mornings, evenings, late at night, or on weekends.

Competitive pay ranging from $47,000 - $50,000 at hire depending on qualifications.
8 paid holidays and 9 days of PTO during the first year of employment.

Hybrid Work Employment Specialists work from their home office and split their time between working remotely and working in the community to support their clients in-person.
Employment Specialists regularly complete remote tasks like:
Virtual Great Work team and client meetings or check-ins Required paperwork and documentation Answering correspondence (email, text, Teams messages, and phone calls) Job searching Business outreach to arrange exploration activities like informational interviews and tours Scheduling meetings and appointments and managing your calendar Employment Specialists regularly complete in-person tasks like:
Meeting with your client in the community, at their home, or at their work Joining your clients for interviews, onboarding, and orientation training Joining you clients for business tours, job-shadows, and informational interviews Stopping by job sites and assisting clients interviewing or moving toward workplace independence while forming a relationship with your client's supervisors Occasional in-person trainings and team meetings Support and Collaboration Employment Specialists do a lot of their work independently but are part of a team of professionals united in a shared passion for more inclusion of people with disabilities in the workforce! We connect and collaborate throughout the week.
Employment Specialists receive attentive and prompt supervision and support from supervisors and seasoned team members through team training and collaboration meetings, weekly check-ins, and on the fly communications throughout the week.
REQUIREMENTS Minimum Qualifications (Required) Bachelor's Degree in human services, social work, psychology, nursing, or a related field.
One year (2,080 annual hours) of job-related experience in social services, healthcare, or related field.
Must have valid driver's license and vehicle available for business use.
Must successfully pass DHS background check Preferred Qualifications Prior professional experience in disability services strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities needed Manage a caseload of recipients with varying levels of needs, from high and complex to low Establish and maintain a professional relationship with client teams, staff, and all others Ability to ethically document and manage time To have knowledge and direct experience with individuals with disabilities Computer proficiency using Word and Outlook with proficiency in keyboarding skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
Work Environment:
This position will require a combination of remote work, in-office, and on-site locations within the community-based.
A typical breakdown looks like 50% remote work and 50% in-person.
