Seeking EH&S Manager to oversee the environmental, health & safety program for assigned facilities and production areas, and lead the execution of the safety programs.
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Safety and Health or a related field.
Must have at least 3 plus years experience in food or beverage manufacturing safety
working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and EPA standard and requirements.
Knowledge of risk assessment and management techniques.
Responsibilities:
Manage a safe environment for our production facilities and distribution departments, and improve initiatives throughout facility.
Ensure facilities are compliant with all federal, state, and local food safety guidelines and requirements.
Manage workers compensation and accident claims. Investigate industrial accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes, install preventive measures, and manage return-to-work activities.
Serve as the primary representative for external and internal audits, conduct new hire safety orientation, training, and coaching.
Provide leadership and administration to the safety and security program, implement safety directives, improve safety performance, and ensure facility safety policies and procedures are aligned with governmental regulations
Inspect facility, machinery, and safety equipment to identify potential hazards, Implement safety and security performance standards, methods of accomplishing those standards, and reporting processes.
